Grabbed this on Bandcamp whilst watching it being played live at The Dome. Tears welled up as the final crescendo peaked and had it been the end of my cycle, I would have happily spontaneously combusted, I then realised it was only dawn and the first of the triptych, so I will soldier on, at least until dusk and endure another two stellar opus’s before I can embark on that final journey. Well this is officially, by far the most beautiful album I've ever heard in doom metal. The drumming work is so original and innovative, especially in doom metal. The woodwinds and the violins are such a nice touch. The growls are so haunting. I love their transitions to the heavy instrumentation with the growls to the soft, melancholic clean passages. The clean voices are amazing and the melodies chosen in the voices are quite different and added a whole new emotion to the songs

What a monster album. 2hrs of masterfully crafted Funeral/Death Doom Metal. I have only had a few listens so far but you become engulfed in the melodies and story that’s been displayed through the artwork. Wow!!! Favourite album of 2022
